Alright, are we here to destroy the front row or not? Are we gonna lock eyes with the drummer and make him understand he’s about to suffer or not? Cool, because if that’s the plan, this little monster is the perfect antidote to bring back bite, grit and a seriously welcome dose of power to your rehearsal room and the stage alike. What an absolute beast of an amp!!!

The EL34 power tubes deliver a more dynamic compression and saturation, evoking a more modern “British” tone while retaining the sustain and versatility expected from EVH 5150III amps. Channel one offers a more open and compressed clean tone, while channels two and three provide a slightly darker and more compressed voice with even more gain than before. Channels one and two each feature concentric dual gain/volume controls with shared EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble), while channel three has its own independent EQ section. Additional features include a rear-panel resonance control that fine-tunes the low-frequency response across all channels, along with a global presence control.

The amp is also equipped with seven JJ ECC83 preamp tubes, a pair of EL34 power tubes and switchable output impedance (4, 8 and 16 ohms). All BIAS controls are accessible from outside the chassis, making the little beast incredibly practical on tour should you ever blow a tube.

And when it comes to the cab, this super high-quality 2×12” cabinet delivers an absolutely insane sound for a ridiculously tiny price, awesome… Yes, I really used the word “tiny” in a product description, but don’t get the wrong idea: it definitely does not apply to the sound of this thing, because sonically, this 212 absolutely crushes. Loaded with 2×12” Celestion Heritage30 speakers, the little monster’s 60 watts, mounted on casters, hit unbelievably hard. On top of that, it can be tilted back thanks to its tilt-back legs (the French translation sounds so ridiculous I’m skipping it…) allowing you to aim the sound straight at your face, the front row, or if you prefer, your family, your friends… or your partner’s exes.
