Among the limited edition models for 2019, this splendid Fender Telecaster SPCL LTD 1955 Journeyman Aged White Blonde stood out. A lightweight body, 3,25 kilos, in selected ash, the rift sawn maple neck with a modern radius but with the typical U profile encountered in the 54s and 55s. Well, we had an original 1955 Telecaster a few years ago which clearly was amazing. Some comparisons that I want to make all the same, particularly the neck, because the one we got on this Custom Shop here is really well done, with a really cool profile that reminds me of this original 55. All the necks of the old Telecasters I have, between 52 and 56, are different, but this U profile is really great.
The finish is in Journeyman, but since the beautiful one is in Aged White Blonde, the Relic seems rather soft, which is not to displease. We really have the impression to own a vintage by looking at it, fortunately for collectors and vintage lovers, some obvious differences, such as the radius of the neck of 9.5 inches… Also, since that instrument is a second hand in great condition, is now fitted with a Mastery Bridge Telecaster and had a fret leveling done, this guitar is a beast !!
Comes with a Limited Edition neck plate, its original hardcase, a Fender Jack its certificate and documents and the original Fender bridge.
