Celebrate 30 years of the Z-Vex Fuzz Factory design and 25 years of the iconic intro and riff created by Matthew Bellamy for Muse’s legendary single Plug in Baby, with this stunning Z-Vex Origin of Symmetry Limited Edition pedal. Matt discovered the sounds of the intro and the riff while using a Fuzz Factory in the studio. The riff itself was voted the number-one guitar riff of the 2000s!

Fully made in the USA and featuring officially licensed artwork from the Origin of Symmetry album, the design was created by Lisa McGrath, an artist who has been working on Z-Vex enclosures for many years. Each pedal is individually numbered and features detailed Origin of Symmetry album artwork, along with the bold ZVEX logo prominently displayed on the front. The production is limited to just 80 pieces. Leadmusic has a few of them… Voilà voilà…

By exploring the unique sounds that could be achieved by manipulating the various controls of the Fuzz Factory, the pedal’s internal circuitry eventually found its way into a custom circuit installed in Matt’s stage guitars, including the DeLorean and 007 models, made by Manson Guitars in Devon, England.
