Manson Guitar Works are pleased to announce the launch of a new range of guitars that will form part of the core of “NE” (New Era) instruments now emerging from the company’s Ashburton workshops following a factory re- organisation. And as a limited edition, the new striking finish Satin Bluebell will be available only for the first run.

Much more than a simple model announcement, the NE range creates a core product for the popular MB signature model featuring full in-house body machining and hand finishing, striking paint finishes and custom electronics, (including Manson’s own pickups) where the newly expanded workforce creates the MB-1 NE from start to finish.

The new factory re-organisation allowed the MGW team to incorporate new tweaks and improvements to the range, including features that have been stage-proven by company co-owner Matthew Bellamy during world touring duties. Hence, the new MB-1 NE discards the traditional neck plate and replaces it with a more sculpted, sleeker, recessed four-bolt neck-to-body join, as seen in the company’s ORYX model range. Upper access is improved; fatigue is reduced.

A custom Sustainiac system adds the OEM-style circuit board to the NE range which increases performance and reduces cross-talk of the sustainiac whilst in use. NE models rely heavily on the ethos and ultra-high specifications of Manson Guitars custom creations which means the hardware is top-notch including Gotoh 510 hardware, rolled edge figured necks with compound radius, solid Obeche bodies, hard cases as standard.
