In 2013, Henriksen launched the JazzAmp because Bud Henriksen could not find anything on the market that sounded like what he believed a jazz amplifier should sound like. A few versions and thousands of satisfied musicians later, the brand decided it was time to reinvent the concept by bringing in twelve years of experience and expertise to design the JazzAmp of the next decade.
Weighing just over 6 kg, the new Bud SIX is without question the most compact guitar amplifier truly suited for the stage, offering unmatched sound quality. Its dimensions of 23 x 23 x 23 cm and its 120 watt power will surprise you with both volume and tonal richness, whether for electric guitar, acoustic guitar or any other string instrument equipped with a pickup. Thanks to its many features, it adapts to almost any type of performance and is an essential tool for any demanding musician.
Do you want a toaster sized amplifier that delivers studio level sound quality for electric and acoustic instruments with enough volume to cover almost any gig? Of course you do. That is why if you play guitar or any string instrument with a pickup, you need a Bud. The Bud has all the functions you need and far more than enough volume for your bandmates or club manager to ask you to turn down, and when paired with the extension cabinet you can easily compete with a very loud drummer. The amplifier and cabinet are naturally resistant to feedback, which reduces the need for artificial filtering and other suppression technologies that negatively affect your tone.
But it is not only about size and volume, there are many small powerful amplifiers on the market. You have tried them. You know how they sound. The Bud is different. Henriksen Amplifiers puts tone first, and the incredibly portable size and features of the Bud were developed around the sound, not the other way around, and you can clearly hear the difference. Our preamp, from input to output, is designed with high quality audio components. We offer a five band equalizer with carefully chosen center frequencies that were tuned by ear to meet the demands of different playing environments using the widest possible range of musical instruments. We provide two identical preamps, each with independent equalization and reverb as well as true forty eight volt phantom power and an auxiliary input on each channel so that whatever you are using can be equalized separately from your instrument signal.
