The 1951 Telecaster® Journeyman Relic captures the raw essence of Fender’s revolutionary first solid-body electric guitar. Crafted in the Fender Custom Shop, this exquisite instrument features a carefully selected 2-piece ash body with an offset seam, finished in nitrocellulose lacquer that showcases an authentically worn appearance.
The guitar’s one-piece quartersawn flame maple neck delivers exceptional stability and response. Custom Shop Hand-Wound ’51 Nocaster Pickups provide the iconic early ‘50s Telecaster twang that made the original Telecaster a legend, with a unique 3-position switching system that includes a special blend control in the bridge position.
Other premium features include a 1951 “U” Back Shape, 7.25” – 12” Radius, 21 Narrow Tall Frets (6105), 3-Saddle ’51 Nocaster Bridge with Brass Saddles, Bone Nut, 1-Ply Black Phenolic Pickguard, Nocaster Control Knobs, Vintage-Style Tuning Machines with Fender® Logo, Vintage-Style String Tree, Deluxe Hardshell Case, Strap, Certificate of Authenticity.
