Ah well this one impresses us, and it’s not necessarily often that we think that the standard series from Martin can reveal good surprises, but here, what a good guitar. When we made the deal with its former owner who played it religiously for a few months, I told him that it was a real good sounding one and until the last moment, I did not imagine doing the deal… In short, this beauty will delight you.

With a super pretty Sitka top, with a perfect cut, and mahogany back and sides, this D18 is gorgeous but doesn’t look fancy. But this one has a excellent projection, loud volume and perfect balance. An excellent guitar that covers a lot of musical styles. And the codition is almost like new, no marks or dents, only very slight playwears on the surface of the pickguard and… frankly, that’s all. Frets are like new.
