Here is in my opinion one of the most beautiful instruments created at the beginning of the 20th century!!! The Resonator Guitars had it all but fate and a clumsiness of the original designer’s boss decided otherwise, and the superb design was left aside and never produced again since the 40’s. It was not until 1997 that a Czech brand, Amistar, offered Tricone, exactly 70 years after the trademark was registered, and National, after having sued Franta, the owner of Amistar, got down to producing Tricone again… So yes, National is obviously the referential company when it comes to Resophonic metal or brass bodies, and yes, this 2018 Tricone in like new condition is a wonderful guitar!!

This instrument is an NRP Steel with 12 frets, offering excellent playing comfort thanks to its ebony fingerboard, and above all a crazy sound. The volume that emerges from the beast is quite powerful, but it is above all the timbre and its hyper singing mids that will make you want to cry… Believe me, the timbre of this National is to die for, perfectly nasal and filled with mediums, and the sound remains ample and full of bass !!! These National are very poorly represented in Europe and only a few stores have them. The brand has deadlines ranging from 12 to 14 months and such an instrument has a new price of $4800 without option. That’s a bargain we have here as this instrument looks like new.

Don’t miss this 2018 guitar, as this one has been religiously collected and probably barely played, it looks like new. Comes with its original hardcase and documents.
