That neck!!! Okay, you might say that starting a guitar description with “that neck” could be a little confusing, but seriously, what a neck!!! Big, round, generous, wide, deep, reminiscent of some necks from the 1950s, yet this neck that doesn’t exist but somehow does exist is absolutely fantastic!! When Fender launched the Stratocaster in 1954, they weren’t trying to create a classic; yet that’s exactly what happened. With its elegant design, precise tone and numerous innovations, the Stratocaster redefined the electric guitar and opened up a whole new world of musical possibilities.
The American Original ’50s Stratocaster preserves the iconic style of Fender’s founding era and its revolutionary sound, while incorporating modern ergonomics and an updated pickup selector system. Immerse yourself in the golden age of rock ’n’ roll with the Fender American Original ’50s Stratocaster, a tribute to the iconic guitar that shaped the sound of the 1950s. This solid-body electric guitar captures the very essence of the original Stratocaster design, combining vintage aesthetics with modern playability. Equipped with Pure Vintage ’59 single-coil pickups, it delivers an authentic vintage tone that is both clear and well-defined. Its neck, featuring a thick Soft V profile, offers optimal comfort for both chord playing and lead work, making it a versatile instrument for any guitarist.
The American Original ’50s Stratocaster is built with a classic alder body, providing balanced resonance and excellent sustain. Its fingerboard, with a 9.5-inch radius, meets the expectations of contemporary musicians while preserving a traditional aesthetic, ensuring smooth and natural playability. Meticulous attention to every detail gives this guitar its nitrocellulose lacquer finish; not only does it look stunning, but it also allows the wood to breathe naturally over time, enhancing its tonal qualities.
This 2018 guitar has seen plenty of playing time, but it only shows some scratches and small marks, mainly on the back of the guitar, probably caused by a stand, as well as light playwear across the body that gives it a great look. The frets are in perfect condition and show no signs of damage.
Comes with its original case and tremolo arm.
