Information:

For those who are not familiar with Danny Gatton, please, go check youtube and have a seat… And for those who love the man and his instruments, here’s one of the cleanest and earliest Fender Custom Shop Danny Gatton Signature Telecaster we’ve came across, and even saw for sale anywhere. That guitar was sold to me by Alessandro Cortini (Nine Inch Nails, SONOIO, Modwheelmood among many others) in 2020 and we sold it right away to a good musician and collector here in Geneva. We just made a deal and this wonderful instrument is back in our store.

Here we have a super cool and sweet Fender Danny Gatton signature Custom Shop Blackguard Telecaster from 1992. This is the earliest one we’ve seen anywhere online, and this one was clearly part of a collection as it stayed in mint condition, retaining every Cubic Zirconia side dot markers. This guitar is part of the first 50 pieces built and commercialised by the Fender Custom Shop from late 1991 to early 1992, and back then, Danny Gatton was in personn at the Fender Factory when they released that batch to play tand inspect them, and bend the pickup switch, as he did on his personal guitars. The Joe Bardens pickups sound amazing and are stock with that guitar. The original pots have a fast taper so they’re perfect for volume and tone swells.

We had a few of these Signature guitars but it’s the first time we have the feeling that one clearly stands out of all the others. This guitar is different from the others we had. The comfort and feel are different, the high gloss is less sticky and the craftmanshift seems more accurate. The instrument is also very livey, vibrant and plays effortless. Clearly an amazing guitar, and in such condition, that’s really unique.

Comes with its original Tweed case, hangtags, original accessories and COA.
