Here is the new iteration of these superb wah pedals offered by Xotic. We remember the XW-1, which was not only a commercial success but, above all, for a long time the very best wah on the market. Here comes the XW-2 — and as a result, quite simply, the best wah on the market… again.
Designed around the circuitry of the legendary Clyde McCoy wahs manufactured in Italy in the late 1960s, the Xotic XW-2 is an excellent, compact and high-performance wah-wah pedal. The numerous knobs that used to be located on the side of the XW-1 have now been replaced by a Wah Q control integrated into the pedal’s chassis, and a bass boost has been added. These controls allow for a wide range of settings and tonal variations.
Quite simply the best wah on the market — and what’s more, it’s compact… yes, we’re repeating ourselves.
