Reverend guitars began in an East Detroit garage in 1997 and offer unique designs with a true retro flavor. Reverend boasts a roster of artists such as Billy Corgan, Reeves Gabrels, Dan Auerbach, Vernon Reid, and the mighty monster Greg Koch. For the past few years, Reverend guitars have been made in Korea and meticulously installed in-house at Reverend’s headquarters in Toledo, Ohio.
Greg Koch is one of the most highly regarded guitarists in the world today; his seemingly endless talents and vibrant personality make him a true delight to both the ears and the soul. Greg is one of Reverend’s most prominent artists, and his Gristlemaster guitar is something special! Featuring a chambered Korina body and an exclusive “Buttersquatch Blonde” finish, this Classic T design allows for a stable, rich, resonant, and dynamic tone. With a strategically placed chamber under the pickguard, it alleviates any balance issues and delivers monstrous tone without any back-breaking weight!
The roasted maple neck features a dual-action truss rod and an angled neck heel for optimal comfort! With a medium oval profile, 22 jumbo frets, and a 10-14″ radius, it’s extremely comfortable and offers a great playing experience. With Greg’s signature Fishman Fluence Gristle-Tone pickups, you get an incredible sound. The Gristle-Tone pickups offer two very distinct voices: Voice 1 is an open, airy, white-guard-style sound with a Nashville vibe, perfect for big chords. Voice 2 offers a fat punch and mega sustain, its traditional black-guard Fender power.
This pre-owned guitar is in mint condition and has been virtually unplayed by its only owner, a great guitarist and longtime friend, who clearly took great care of it.
