Terms and Conditions

All deliveries are based exclusively on these terms and conditions. They are deemed accepted by the customer at the time of signing the order confirmation or invoice, or by clicking the corresponding button online. In the case of an order placed without prior written confirmation (goods collected on site or orders placed by telephone), it is the customer’s responsibility to inform themselves in advance about the terms of sale and warranty.

Our prices are stated in Swiss Francs or Euros, VAT included. We deliver throughout Switzerland according to the current rates of Swiss Post and DHL, and abroad according to the price offers of UPS, DHL, FedEx, or other carriers to be agreed upon. If a price increase occurs, the customer will receive a new order confirmation.

Any delivery time indicated is for information purposes only and depends on Leadmusic’s suppliers. If Leadmusic is unable to deliver within the expected timeframe, it is the customer’s responsibility to request a new reasonable deadline in writing and to demand delivery.

Technical information, photos, and links are provided for information purposes only. Technical specifications and/or the contents of delivered products may differ from the data provided by the manufacturer or published on its website.

Payment in store: cash.

Mail order payment: in advance, by bank transfer or postal account (CCP).

Shipping and insurance costs are borne by the customer, unless otherwise decided by us. Delivery against invoice can only be considered for companies, universities, or institutions. Prior credit authorization must be requested from our accounting department. We reserve the right to refuse any delivery against invoice.

Leadmusic reserves the right to request advance payments. If the goods are not collected or if the order is cancelled, the advance payment remains the property of Leadmusic’s accounting department. Any order cancellation must be made by registered letter. Cancellation costs are borne by the customer and may amount to up to 20% of the total amount. The remaining balance of the advance payment is generally refunded in the form of a voucher. Refusal of a cash-on-delivery parcel (if accepted by us) is considered an order cancellation and entitles us to charge the related costs.

Any transport damage must be reported to the carrier (postal service or private carrier) within 2 days.

If the goods are not in conformity, in quantity or quality, the customer must submit a written complaint within 2 days of receipt. It is the customer’s responsibility to check upon receipt and before use that the product corresponds to the order. Returns of software or hardware containing software or recording cards (such as IK Multimedia products) opened by the customer will be refused.An exchange may only take place within 2 days of purchase if the item was bought with cash in store. Restocking fees may apply. Leadmusic reserves the right to refuse returns. There is no general right of return for products ordered via the internet or email. Any right of return, exchange, or credit note for mail-order products is granted at Leadmusic’s discretion and decided on a case-by-case basis.

Leadmusic accepts no liability for any failure resulting from force majeure (e.g. natural disasters).

Leadmusic guarantees its new products against manufacturing defects for a period of two years from the date of purchase. Certain so-called Boutique brands may benefit from a longer warranty period. The warranty provided by Leadmusic applies in place of the manufacturer’s after-sales service. Any warranty is excluded in the event of defects or damage caused by external factors, accidents (including electrical accidents), wear and tear, or improper use. The warranty period is not extended following a repair or replacement.

The warranty consists exclusively of the repair of the product recognized as defective (at the discretion of Leadmusic and the relevant service providers). In exceptional cases, an exchange of the device may be considered, subject to agreement with Leadmusic. Any other claims, in particular refunds, are excluded.

Only in exceptional cases may the customer have the product repaired by a third party at Leadmusic’s expense. The only authorized company is FG Electronic, in Posieux. This option is valid only if Leadmusic has been informed in advance and agrees to such a warranty repair.

Any product return by post must be approved in advance by Leadmusic. For this purpose, the customer must contact Leadmusic. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.

Leadmusic strives to satisfy all its customers and encourages feedback and suggestions for improvement. We reserve the right to decide whether to respond to threatening, defamatory, provocative, coercive, or other communications that could incur civil or criminal liability. In the event of a dispute, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Geneva.
