The Angel Player is a little gem and decidedly apart from Tom Anderson, a 24 frets, something Anderson never produced until 2014. In short, a marvel of guitar offering absolutely perfect playing and holding comfort and a wide and versatile sound register. This guitar also has a lightweight Roasted Pine body and delivers exceptional tones and playing comfort.
For our Angel Player, we wanted an instrument worthy of a Fender from the 50s with a Roasted Pine body, but with modern specifications, such of course 24 fret. As fasr as neck is concerned, we are not left out, with a roasted caramel maple neck and a Natural Satin finish, it slides and plays on its own. The Profile Even-Taper +.030 profile is one of our favorites, large but not too much, it fits in the hand. Jumbo frets, modern radius, neck width 1 11/16, in short, a bomb of comfort. But also of sound, you can imagine.
Electronics are also a marvel. It’s versatile like no other guitar (ok, apart from the Anderson’s which have this specific electronics) so the H1+and HN2+ pickups have 4 conductors, allowing them to operate silently, and by using the Split switch on a Push/Pull and the 3 ways Kui switch, we switch to real single coil.
Other specs to this unique Angel Player, such as the locking tuners and a glossy Rustic Brown Edge Burst finish. In short, this Tom Anderson Angel Player is a marvel of beauty and comfort as well as sonic possibilities. Comes with its original deluxe Gigbag, accessories and COA.
