Available in two versions — the Express and the Express Black, dedicated to Metal — this new compact multi-effects unit from Line 6 is quite a beast: small, practical, and offering a wide tonal range and excellent features for its very affordable price.

The ultra-portable POD® Express series of amp and effects processors allows guitarists and bassists to take their sound anywhere they go. Simple controls make operation easy, while the award-winning HX® processor family models ensure outstanding sound quality and an authentic playing feel. Every POD Express includes seven amps, seven cabs, and 17 effects — including a looper — and can be powered by three AA batteries (included) or an optional 9-volt power supply. Other features include stereo outputs, tap tempo, a tuner, a noise gate, a headphone output, and a USB-C audio interface with re-amping capabilities. Add an optional expression pedal to control volume, or up to two footswitches to select presets or toggle effects on and off.

This POD Express amp and effects processor lets guitarists take their tone anywhere in an ultra-portable housing. Its controls are simple and intuitive. The Helix-derived models guarantee exceptional sound quality. Both the Express and the Express Black can run on the included 3 AA batteries or an optional 9V power supply.
