The alder body of the American SL2 is paired with a neck-through three-piece maple neck that enhances sustain and features a pair of graphite reinforcement rods for ultimate stability, resisting warping and twisting caused by temperature and humidity. The 12″-16″ compound radius ebony fretboard with rolled edges and 24 jumbo stainless steel frets plus inverted mother-of-pearl sharkfin inlays is designed for high-speed, technical playing—more curved at the nut for comfortable chord work, flattening out towards the neck for faster playing and bending without fret buzz. Luminlay side dots glow in the dark, providing excellent fretboard guidance even on the darkest stages, while a heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel allows quick neck relief tweaks on the fly.

The HH pickup configuration features a Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 humbucker bridge pickup that delivers hot settings and powerful bass, while the Seymour Duncan ’59 SH-1N neck pickup shines with glassy highs and pronounced mids that work well across many genres.
