So… its full name is Fender Stratocaster 2023 S21 Fall-22 LTD ’64 Journeyman Super Faded Shell Pink… Yeah, that’s starting to be quite a lot of numbers and codes for one guitar 😄 But it’s actually pretty simple. These specs were originally offered for the Spring Dealer Event 2021 (S21), then brought back for the Fall Dealer Event 2022, and this beauty finally landed with us in September 2023. And well… we only got around to shooting proper photos at the end of 2025 — it spent most of its life sleeping in its case. There you go… And honestly, Shell Pink with a crazy flamed neck like this? Yeah… we’d all fall for it.
The alder body is nicely lightweight and resonant, and the AA Quartersawn maple neck with a Medium Tint finish might not sound that wild on paper — but in reality, we got seriously spoiled. This neck is insanely flamed… honestly, Fender must have missed a few grades here — this feels more like AAAA, if not beyond. It just pops!!! The guitar weighs in at 3.41 kg, which is really sweet for a modern Strat.
With a laminated rosewood fretboard, 6105 frets, and a modern 9.5″ radius, it plays effortlessly — helped by the ’63 Strat Style “C” neck profile, one of my personal favorites. It’s loaded with Hand-Wound Texas Special pickups, and the #2 wiring just completes the whole package perfectly.
A true little gem, ultra-limited edition, and never reissued since. Comes with its COA, accessories, and original case.
