OOOOoohhhhhh!!! I completely lost it when I saw this beauty during the Fender Custom Shop Event held on January 21st, 2026 in Anaheim, alongside the NAMM Show 2026. What an absolute stunner this one is, for heaven’s sake! This Fender Stratocaster 1956 Journeyman Gold Sparkle is an ultra-limited NAMM 2026 edition, available exclusively for on-site order during the Fender event held in Anaheim on January 21st, 2026. Designed in the spirit of the earliest Stratocasters while benefiting from the craftsmanship of the Custom Shop, this rare guitar stands out with its spectacular Journeyman Gold Sparkle finish and carefully selected specifications, making it one of the most stunning Custom Shop instruments we’ve seen in quite some time… wouldn’t you agree?
The lightweight two-piece select ash body provides a clear and lively resonance, while the one-piece maple neck contributes to the stability and tonal character typical of 1950s Stratocasters. Its 10/56 V back shape neck profile offers a vintage feel that will be particularly appreciated by players who love historically accurate neck carves, while the 9.5” vintage compound radius ensures the perfect balance between classic comfort and modern playability. The 6105 narrow tall frets allow precise bending and deliver a highly expressive playing feel.
On the electronics side, this Stratocaster is equipped with Custom Shop hand-wound ’56 Strat pickups, including a RWRP middle pickup that reduces unwanted noise in the in-between switch positions. The Vintage Modified Wiring #2 with a 5-way switch expands the tonal palette while preserving the spirit and dynamic response of classic Fender vintage circuits.
The guitar is completed with a bone nut, vintage-style hardware faithful to the original instruments, and comes in a Deluxe hard case, accompanied by its certificate of authenticity (COA) and all official documents.
A true collector’s piece, this Stratocaster embodies both the iconic aesthetics and the legendary tone of 1956 in an exclusive edition reserved for orders placed by dealers attending NAMM 2026. There clearly won’t be many of these on the market… which is really a shame, because this one absolutely blows everything else away.
