Ok, just because I went to the Greeny Experience in Nashville in November 2022 or because we’ve nabbed a Limited Edition Greeny Murphy Lab doesn’t mean I’m excited to present you with the Standard version of the famous Greeny. Leadmusic selected and obtained two Gibson Kirk Hammett “GREENY” Les Paul Standard, and these instruments are really great looking guitars!!

*Greeny” is probably one of the most legendary electric guitars of all time. The original, built in 1959, was used by Peter Green during his time with Fleetwood Mac. The next owner was none other than Gary Moore He’s used Greeny for over three decades with Thin Lizzy and as a solo artist.The next chapter in Greeny’s life is in the hands of Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett, who currently plays this guitar in the studio and on stage all over the world. After the ultra-limited replica of the Custom Shop made by Tom Murphy in person published at the end of 2022, then that of the Gibson Murphy Lab during 2023, the famous American brand finally presents an affordable replica of this unique guitar. the Gibson Kirk Hammett “Greeny” Les Paul Standard Core Model.

As a special highlight, Greeny features the reverse neck pickup with reverse polarity. In the middle position, this Les Paul has a unique out-of-phase sound that is difficult to copy… We have selected this instrument on picture and are proud to be one of the only stores in Switzerland to have obtained it so far.
