Ooh damn!!! Once again the fairies who are looking at the cradle of this guitar and bla bla bla, you see the pircure. Here there are no doubts as the woods are really great for an instrument which is not a Private Stock… Of course, in the Wood Library, the woods are generally top notch, but this instrument has an absolutely crazy Figured Maple top and a crazy flamed maple neck. And that’s not all because the mahogany body is superb too. A mix of gold/nickel parts, the PS bird inlays in abalone with the pearl outlines, the very fine Satin finish and the Paisley case. In short, this Wood Library series, available since 2015, prides itself on offering a selection of wood worthy of Private Stock but at almost half the cost (at least at the new price…).

Superb manufacture and wood for this very beautiful McCarty 594 from 2018. This guitar has also clearly not only been collected, because it has been played. many small marks, small scattered dents, but on the other hand no deep damage nor obviously any marks on the frets. The neck is superb, both in finish and in comfort, with perfect fretting, frets like new, and obviously one of the best access to treble on an instrument with a set neck. A real treat to play.
