Information:

Here is a guitar that once again proves what I have believed for several years: the instruments made by Gibson in their True Historic program, introduced in 2014 and produced between early 2015 and 2017 are the best Gibsons the American brand has produced since 1960. Yes yes yes, and Edwin Wilson, the head of the True Historic program at the Gibson factory, would not contradict me. The recreation of old Les Paul Burst guitars made by the Gibson Custom Shop is according to them as good as the originals, and one would be tempted to believe them, but since this instrument costs at least fifty times less, the question does not even arise. Anyway, this is simply one of the best Les Pauls we have ever had, alongside some of our Mark Knopfler Aged models and our Nielsen Aged and Signed. This instrument is absolutely stunning in terms of tone and sustain and gives a striking impression of quality. Everything resonates and everything sounds big and full, simply fabulous

The True Historic guitars were truly the pinnacle of Gibson manufacturing, and the specifications unique to this series, double carved top, double carved neck, hide glue, and hand rolled fretboard, truly bring something extra to these instruments. This Les Paul Standard 1960 in Faded Lemon Burst is a marvel, as this beauty weighs a little over 3.9 kilos and features a stunning one piece mahogany body, topped with a superb maple top showing magnificent figuring and beautiful grain patterns. The nitro finish is also superb, and the overall look is absolutely, ok we repeat ourselves, splendid, superb, in short, seriously, what a beauty!! And the instrument offers truly excellent playing comfort, everything is right, everything is successful, everything is so well done, in short, everything reinforces my belief that True Historic models are the best recent Les Pauls made by Gibson. Also, the neck is closer to a 59 profile, comfortable, not thin, a really lovely shape

This instrument has ultimately been played very little and only shows a few light scratches and small dings typical of the Custom Shop. The frets are in excellent condition with no pronounced wear, as this beauty has rarely left the house.

And did I tell you that this guitar was presented and played by Billy Gibbons and that he signed the back of the headstock? And did I mention that this beauty received an aged treatment by the American workshops Wizz? And did you know that originally this instrument was fitted in a Peter Green mod configuration with specific Wizz pickups? And that following the test and the signature by Billy Gibbons, the previous owner, a passionate Les Paul enthusiast and great connoisseur, had a set of Wizz Billy Gibbons pickups installed?

In short, what a marvel, superb and unique guitar !!!  Delivered with all its hang tags, documents, certificate, and its Brown Tolex case, the good ones, the cool ones, not the flimsy ones Gibson supplies nowadays
