Gibson declared 2013 the “Year of the Les Paul” and the Les Paul Signature T was one of the key models marking the occasion. It started from a good intention, with excellent specifications and quality of craftmanship.. With the exception of the dubious choice of equipping these guitars with Trionicaltune motorized tuners, Gibson’s Robot system… In short, when we bought this guitar at the end of 2024, we installed original Gibson Kluson tuners on it. The Tronicaltune system is included in the original instrument case

The Les Paul Signature “T” wrapped all of Les Paul’s legendary innovation into a smooth-looking, great-sounding Les Paul that honored the memory of the legendary guitar’s inventor, while providing an instrument primed for power and the versatility demanded by today’s guitarist. Traditional tonewoods are married with improved playing comfort and two of Gibson’s finest PAF-style humbucking pickups, the Classic 57, with enhanced versatility thanks to Push Pulls, delivering single-coil tones. The AA-grade figured maple top looks stunning in Vintage Sunburst, all finished in high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer.

The carved AA-grade solid maple top is  a great looking one and lends bite and articulation to the sound, while a select mahogany back, treated with Gibson’s traditional weight relief to increase playing comfort and improve resonance, brings superb warmth and depth. A solid mahogany neck is glued and carved in the fast ’60s SlimTaper™ profile, and topped with a rich brown A-grade Granadillo fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and traditional trapezoid inlays.

The beauty is in excellent condition, with the usual small light surface scratches and playwear, but no dents, no chips or large scratches. A strap has slightly marked the edge near the strap button, this is the only flaw more visible. This very nice Les Paul Signature T from 2013 comes with its original hardcase containing the original Tronicaltune tuners.
