The Eric Clapton Signature Stratocaster is truly a breed apart in Fender’s history, and the Custom Shop versions are often outstanding instruments. This is certainly the case with this beautiful 2006 example, which has clearly been played but comes to us in very good condition. And since this superb Stratocaster from the Fender Custom Shop features the gorgeous Midnight Blue finish, we’re especially happy to offer it for sale, as this finish is probably the most beautiful of them all.

This guitar is in excellent condition for its age. It shows only a few light scratches and scattered marks from normal use, but no major dents or damage. The instrument has been very well maintained. The frets are in perfect condition with very little wear, allowing for smooth and comfortable playability across the entire neck.

The body is particularly lightweight and very resonant, giving this Strat an exceptional acoustic response and remarkable sustain, even when played unplugged. A lively, inspiring instrument that is extremely enjoyable to play. As is often the case with great Custom Shop instruments from this era, it has plenty of character and a real tonal personality, thanks in particular to its blocked tremolo bridge, Noiseless pickups, and integrated boost circuit.
