We’ve had several Masterbuilts in our hands of course, but this is really something else entirely. This 2005 Mastebuilt was built by Yuriy Shishkov, and it is the very top of the range from the Fender Custom Shop, the choice of woods and the manufacturing quality of this superb guitar indeed pay homage to one of the best luthiers from the Custom Shop workshops and above all pay homage to these instruments from the mid-50s.

This 50’s Stratocaster repro is an iconic instrument from the Fender workshops. This superb guitar has a select, lightweight alder body. The neck is in one piece with a super comfortable Large C profile and a radius of 9.5”. The frets are Dunlop 6105, and both the neck and frets are in like new condition. This instrument has hardly been played… The pickups are 50’s Custom and the single-ply aluminum pickguard is splendid and gives a unique look to this guitar. It’s perfect. The Gold Leaf finish is stunning and reminds us of the color of a 2004 Clapton Masterbuilt we had. The beauty only weighs 3.33 kilos!!!

This exceptional instrument was produced in 250 copies in 2005, by different Masterbuilders, and is delivered with the COA and comes with its original case. The original accessories (strap, jack, tremolo, 3-position switch, etc.) are included. This guitar comes from a collection and has almost never been played, in like new condition.
