Fender has always known how to make good guitars, but in the 90s, for their first Relic series, the Fender Custom Shop called on Vince Cunetto, and we understand why. This series was intended for the Platinum Dealers of the German distributions of the time and this limited edition of 40 very high-end exemplars was only sold through these German dealers “Diamond Dealers”.

So this superb Stratocaster relic 58 PD-3 Platinum Dealer Edition takes up the specifications of the Custom Shop 58 Strat, but with improvements, such as the superb figured maple neck, the selected alder body and obviously the Vince Cunetto Relic. Exceptional work, realistic and not exaggerated, both the patina and the appearance give the impression that the instrument is almost 70 years old… This guitar, although collected and in almost like new condition, presents all the blows and finishes Relic made by the Custom Shop. The frets are in excellent condition, no worries about refretting for a very long time. The neck is superb, with splendid veining, light in part but pronounced towards the top and the headstock. John Cruz’s signature stamp is affixed to the neck, and our example is a marvel of comfort and tone.

This exceptional guitar comes with its original brown tolex case, and all its original accessories, such as Ashtrey cover and tremolo rod, Custom Shop strap and other accessories such as new Fender polish cloth. Included with the beauty is the COA certificate signed by John Page and all the original tags and accessories.
