This beauty absolutely blew us away at NAMM 2025, and as soon as it arrived in the shop in June 2025, it was gone before we even had a chance to list it on our website or hang it on the wall. Now it’s back after spending some time with its owner, an outstanding musician, connoisseur, and collector. It returns to us in like-new condition: no fret wear, no damage whatsoever, other than the aging work performed by Fender and the Custom Shop. In short, a true little masterpiece.

A fabulous instrument, this 1962 Limited Stratocaster in Aged Seminole Red. The body is made from lightweight and resonant two-piece alder. Beyond its stunning Aged Seminole Red finish, the appeal of this guitar lies both in its limited production numbers and in the exceptional comfort and finish of its Plain Grain maple neck.

The neck is an absolute dream to play, thanks to its comfortable ’60s Oval “C” profile and its 7.25″–9.5″ Vintage Compound Radius fingerboard. The Clay Dot inlays provide an authentic vintage look, while the frets are true vintage-style.

The electronics have also received special attention. It is equipped with a set of Custom Shop Hand-Wound Fat ’60s Strat pickups, mounted on a three-ply Mint Green pickguard. A 5-way selector switch offers a wider tonal palette than the original vintage models, which is certainly a welcome addition. Vintage-style hardware includes Kluson tuners and a ’62-style bridge.
