Here’s another one of those amazing guitars that were on display at NAMM, for which a lottery was organized. That means we won the right to purchase them, and I had some luck this year, scoring this stunning Custom Built Stratocaster in Magenta Sparkle. What a beast!!! This is the guitar that was on display, which arrived to us in early 2025, and that we kept in the vault for a while before deciding to put it up for sale.
This gorgeous Fender Custom Shop Custom Deluxe Stratocaster NOS is an exceptional Strat that perfectly blends vintage soul with modern comfort. With its lightweight two-piece ash body and NOS nitro finish, it exudes classic Fender vibes: timeless look, incredible resonance, and an instrument that’s ready to live and age with you. This is a guitar that sings and vibrates from the very first note. The quartersawn maple neck with a ’65 C profile is both stable, fast, and super comfortable in the hand. Paired with a dark, silky 3A rosewood fingerboard, it offers an ultra-smooth feel, perfect for expressive bends, inspired solos, or full, open chords. The 9.5” radius and 22 narrow-tall frets make playing effortless, even when you push your bends.
Sound-wise, it features a set of handwound Fat ’60s pickups, delivering everything we love in a Strat: clarity, warmth, precise attack, and that signature bell-like chime. The reverse-wound, reverse-polarity middle pickup (RWRP) ensures perfect hum-canceling in positions 2 and 4, and the Vintage Modified wiring with Tone Saver bleed preserves brightness even when rolling back the volume. From ultra-glassy cleans to fat, gritty overdrive, it does it all.
The hardware stays true to Fender’s spirit while being extremely reliable: Custom Classic two-point tremolo, Schaller locking tuners, bone nut… it stays in tune, responds beautifully, and invites you to play again and again. Delivered with its deluxe hardshell case and Custom Shop certificate, this Custom Deluxe Strat NOS is a true musical powerhouse, ultra-versatile and built for both stage and studio.
A top-tier Strat, inspiring, elegant, and incredibly effective — exactly what you expect from a Fender Custom Shop instrument.
