Introduced in 2024 with a 28-inch scale length and simply named the Leonardo 28”, Bacci unveiled a limited edition at NAMM 2025 featuring some seriously cool specs and design. Here’s the Parato Circles, produced in extremely limited numbers. We even got to choose the maple for the neck — and we went all out, because our neck is ultra-flamed!!!

After spending over three years researching and developing his first Leonardo Dual Output model, Bruno Bacci now delivers an exceptional baritone guitar with a slightly shorter 28″ scale length. What inspired a second version of Bacci’s baritone line with this new 28” scale length? The scale allows for a broader range of low frequencies. The 13/72 strings, provided by DOGAL — a renowned Italian company specializing in handcrafted strings — are finely tuned to complement these features. While baritone guitars already offer a lower register than standard guitars, Bruno Bacci’s innovation has taken this instrument to new sonic heights. By plugging the second output into a bass amp, the fourth, fifth, and sixth strings resonate with a depth that mimics a bass guitar, boosting both volume and sonic range. This instrument is a marvel of comfort and opens the door to truly unique and fascinating tonal registers.

This comes from the quality of the lutherie — Bruno Bacci listens carefully to every piece of wood used for his guitars, pairing tops with bodies and then necks with the assembled body, based on the resonance of each component. One of its most revolutionary features is the inclusion of a second output, exclusively dedicated to the bass pickup focused on the lower three strings of the baritone. This innovation expands the instrument’s tonal possibilities, allowing for a much richer, deeper sound that opens up new playing techniques and artistic ideas. Bruno Bacci designed all the pickups in the Leonardo series in collaboration with Dreamsongs Pickups, an Italian company renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship. For the Leonardo Parato Circles, Dreamsongs™ Pickups created a set of P90 pickups that capture sonic brilliance without sacrificing depth. They also developed modern bass pickups that excel at capturing the sound of the fourth, fifth, and sixth strings for the instrument’s second output.
