Here’s my beloved William King Tenor Ukulele custom built for me in 2007 for sale. Thought I would never move this one but I barely play uke anymore…
That was custom built for me in 2006 and delivered a year later to me. That uke is a true wonderful piece of art and craftmaship and has some of the nicest koa woods I’ve seen. I selected the woods among many pictures William sent me back then. We can definitely talk about Mastergrade Koa here, and such koa are barely available anymore.
This lightweight instrument is a super nice sounding tenor uke, perfect action and super easy to play. It features Mastergrade Koa back, sides and top, mahogany neck, ebony fretboard, koa headstock, Gotoh mini tuners and is mounted with a Schertler Stat pickup. I played that uke (as well as all the guitars) on Petula Clark’s song SOS Mozart in 2009. Go check that tune and listen to the amazing sound of this uke. As I played it live and in the studio pretty often, so it shows some wear here and there, but no cracks, no damage, no wear on frets or fretboard. Comes with a foam hardcase
