Oliver Riedel, bassist of the German band Rammstein, has always been a fan of bass manufacturer Sandberg and after his Terra Signature, the 4-string California V design in Aged hardcore black finish was put together especially for him. The beauty has Sandberg Black Label VM pickups, active 2-band electronics and of course a crazy design!!! With the classic VM pickup configuration, consisting of a humbucker in the middle position and a humbucker in the bridge, the California VM4 Oliver Riedel offers an extremely flexible sound. The M-style humbucker produces powerful tones with harmonic-rich clarity, while the V Split, thanks to its design, also acts as a noise filter, but produces clearly defined single coil sounds. Thanks to the active 2-band electronics, the bass and treble can be boosted or reduced via the separate controls for greater flexibility.

Sandberg completely dispenses with the use of parts from external manufacturers and equips hardware guitars and basses of its own design. Thus, the Oliver Riedel Signature is equipped with a massive Sandberg Bass bridge for the most direct resonance transmission of string vibrations into the body, while the massive die-cast machine heads not only do their job impeccably, but also contribute appropriately to the visual appearance of the black Finish bass guitar.
