Here’s a the new Microtubes 900v2. Three years ago, Darkglass Electronics released the Microtubes 900. An uncompromising, light, versatile and unapologetically loud bass amplifier. Its features and design embodied the Darkglass ethos like none of the brand’s previous products.
Now, a thousand days after the first Microtubes amplifier saw the light of day, Darkglass is proud to announce the next steps in their bass amplification evolution: Microtubes 900 v2 and Alpha·Omega 900.
Microtubes 900 v2 features both of Darkglass’ celebrated Microtubes engines. From the powerful dynamic saturation circuit from the B3K to the classic overdriven tone from the Vintage Microtubes, clean, vintage and aggressive metal tones are only a stomp away.
The Microtubes 900v2 also feature MIDI for channel switching, and muting programmability, impulse response cabinet simulation, with up to three different storable virtual cabinets, auxiliary input, and headphone output, making the Microtubes 900 v2 not only among the most complete amplifier solutions for the touring musician, but also the ideal tools for silent practicing.
