Of the twenty pieces of wood that Bruno Bacci acquired, only the pieces with the best resonance will be used. And resonance is the key word of this unique series, because the alder used for the Amrita Woodworms IV Strings Michael League Signature Bass, has on the one hand more than 20 years of storage, but has above all been altered by typographical bark beetles , these small beetles which infest the woods and carve galleries in their essence which ultimately prove to be formidable natural amplifiers.

For luthier Bruno Bacci, the choice of a beetle-eaten alder body is not just a matter of aesthetics, but rather a reflection of his appreciation for the art of Tuscan woodworking. This porous body is therefore intimately linked to the percussive, warm and airy sound of the Amrita Woodworms, obtained thanks to myriads of tiny tonal chambers created naturally by woodworms.
