Here is a reference, both by the countless artists who have revered and played this guitar and by the longevity of the model, the Rickenbacker 360 is an icon. Coming from the famous Capri model, created in 1958 by Roger Rossmeisl, the Rickebacker 360 has a semi-hollow double cutaway design. The body is made of a hollowed-out piece of closed Maple wood with a back also in Maple. The F-Hole is of the classic Rickenbacker type. The Maple neck is covered with a Bubinga fingerboard. It encloses a double Truss Rod adjustment rod, has 24 boxes and the markers are of the pellet type. The entire guitar, including the fingerboard, is finely varnished. The tuners are Schaller and the High- Gain Single Coil Vintage pickups deliver what you need for rock and more.

The credentials of these superb 360 models came with George Harrison of the Beatles, who used his 12-string 360 a lot, the famous 360/12, particularly from the summer of 1965, with the new model with the rounded cutaway, like ours, released in 1964. Thus the Beatles song “If I Needed Someone” was played with this new version of the 360/12… Subsequently, Roger McGuinn, of the band The Byrds, played a similar 360/12. And the 6-string version of the Rickenbacker 360 model is the main instrument of Peter Buck of R.E.M, Tom Petty and Laura Jane Grace of the group Against Me!

This instrument is in excellent condition, with very light and discreet bucklewear on the back, and a few and tiny surface scratches. No dent, no damage, frets in perfect condition with tiny traces of playwear under the 3 top strings on the first three frets. The beauty comes with its original hardcase.
