The Gletty Columbia models are based on the Travis Bean concept with a unique and very cool design along with an improved aluminum neck. The bolt on Columbia neck weighs less than 650 grams straight out of the CNC machine. Gletty uses a very specific aluminum alloy that is free of internal stress and offers far greater stability against temperature changes. Every neck is fitted with a truss rod allowing for any type of adjustment. Their construction provides outstanding strength while two very distinctive internal cavities give them a unique voice. This foundation shared by every Gletty guitar delivers playing comfort balance and resonance that Travis Bean instruments simply do not offer. This Columbia MKV Tenth Anniversary features an absolutely stunning Gabon Royal Ebony fingerboard with spectacular figuring. The one piece mahogany body is equally impressive and the Relic finish reveals beautiful grain and natural patterns. The electronics are simple effective and sound incredible. The HBG pickups deliver a punchy warm voice rich in midrange with excellent clarity. These pickups pair perfectly with the sharp attack of the aluminum neck and the broad upper mids of the mahogany body giving this guitar remarkable definition and articulation.
