Information:

Unveiled exclusively during the Taylor Catch Event 2026, held in Anaheim alongside the renowned NAMM Show on January 21, 2026, this exceptional Custom guitar by Taylor Guitars belongs to an ultra-limited production run available only to the brand’s top dealers. Designed as a true collector’s piece while remaining an inspiring professional instrument, it perfectly reflects Taylor’s high-end acoustic craftsmanship in an extremely rare configuration.

This Custom Gold Label model immediately stands out thanks to its remarkable tonewood selection. The back and sides are crafted from beautifully figured Big Leaf maple, whose natural patterns are dramatically enhanced by a Translucent Black finish that reveals the depth of the grain beneath the surface. The top features Bearclaw Sitka spruce, prized for its distinctive visual character and balanced tonal response. Together, these woods create a refined and sophisticated visual identity, further highlighted by iridescent Italian acrylic appointments including a Fishbones rosette and elegant Engraved Victorian inlays on the fretboard.

The guitar features a Grand Pacific Deep Body shape with round shoulders and increased body depth, delivering a broad, warm and immersive tonal response. Inside, the Fanned V-Class bracing with Tonal Rout generates deep, round bass frequencies while maintaining impressive clarity across the entire tonal range. Notes blend smoothly into one another, producing a rich and cohesive sound without sacrificing low-end definition. Fingerstyle players will appreciate the surprising articulation for a slope-shoulder dreadnought, while strummers will enjoy the powerful projection and lush harmonic content.

The neck is crafted from neo-tropical mahogany with Taylor’s comfortable Standard Carve profile, a 1-3/4″ nut width and a 25-1/2″ scale length, offering a familiar yet highly refined playing feel. The West African Crelicam ebony fretboard adds precision and durability, while Taylor’s proprietary Action Control Neck system allows quick and precise string height adjustments for optimal playability. The long-tenon neck joint further enhances resonance and tonal transfer. For amplification, the guitar is equipped with the Element VTC pickup system by L.R. Baggs, ensuring a natural and faithful reproduction of the instrument’s acoustic voice. Premium 510 Antique Gold tuners from Gotoh provide exceptional tuning stability and smooth operation.

The instrument comes housed in a beautiful Taylor Deluxe British Cocoa Bronco hard shell case, perfectly complementing the understated elegance of this remarkable guitar. Rare, sophisticated and sonically inspiring, this Taylor Catch Event 2026 Custom represents a unique opportunity to own a piece born from one of Taylor’s most exclusive dealer-only events.
