The world first saw that guitar in mid 2023 when Muse started their Will Of The People tour, and everybody was hit by this amazing design. But before the release of the V1 and V2 Limited Edition GEO Mask in late 2023, Manson had a prototype done, a one-off. They discussed the previous run all having this logo but decided to not add it after all. So Manson kept this one, similar to a GEO Mask V1 Limited Edition, with a PF-1 plus sustainiac electronics, but they added a unique and cool Graffiti WOTP Logo and a killer Roast flame 5A plus neck. The flames of the neck are amazing and we’ll do our best to upload pictures soon

The release of the Manson MB GEO Mask Edition in late 2023, a faithful recreation of Matthew Bellamy’s unique metal paint finished multi-angled guitar as used on the Will Of The People tour in 2023, was already really something special as only 10 pieces workldwide were built, but this unique guitar is definitely something else and comes with a regular Manson Hiscox hardcase, a hand signed certificate, Geo Mask plectrums and a Geo Mask strap.

The guitar origins started with an idea by Head Luthier Tim Stark that would revolve around the angles and geometry of radar-deflecting aeroplane technology. Working such ideas into a production instrument required multiple attempts to perfect so the model could become a production instrument. Aided by Manson’s CAD programmer, James Yarde, perfecting these angles resulted in the creation of the very first GEO design, ready for company owner Matthew Bellamy to be presented with the instrument at Muse’s home concert in Devon in 2023. Struck by the unique design, he instructed his tech Chris Whitemyer to integrate the guitar into the set as soon as possible, making its first public appearance in Austria on 3rd June 2023.

This pre-production run instrument is an identical replica of Bellamy’s WOTP stage guitar, with the small detail that the original had backplates engraved with the employee names of Manson Guitar Works; the GEO Mask editions feature a backplate reflecting its limited status with a unique serial number, 0 of 10, marking and WOTP logo. This guitar is also the only one spotting the WOTP Graffiti logo. The unique style, look and sound of the instrument made an immediate impact and it was included not only as a set-opener for the WOTP tour but was soon included on several other songs during the band set.

The GEO Mask Edition’s unique shape is backed by the same top-spec hardware and electronics that grace the majority of Bellamy’s stage guitars comprising a Sustainiac Stealth Pro sustainer system and Manson’s popular in-house pickup model, the PF-1 MB, designed by Simon Thorn, and the Sustainiac. Gotoh 5 series hardware and a high-polish version of the Manson custom hardware control knob complete the specification.

Our unique One-Off Prototype GEO Mask WOTP Graffiti V1 features a fantastic roasted flame maple neck and comes with a UK- made Manson Hiscox Liteflite case, a hand-signed certificate by Matthew Bellamy, Geo Mask plectrums and a Geo Mask strap, and is a unique opportunity to grab a superb one-off gutiar from Manson.
