Information:

A truly iconic Stratocaster!! It doesn’t take much to guess who owns this signature model, with that bold “SRV” print on the pickguard. A standard production model, but everything about this guitar is a tribute to one of the greatest guitarists who ever lived.

If you grew up in the 1980s you will have heard him, but chances are you didn’t know it was him. In March 1983, David Bowie released a new single, Let’s Dance. It became Bowie’s best-selling single. So you’ve heard Stevie Ray Vaughan, because the Texan bluesman plays on this track… but the guy’s career doesn’t end there, obviously.

This 1997 guitar has obviously been played but not abused, with light wear typical of playing – various scratches, a few minor dings. Maple neck with oval profile from the early 60s with Pau ferro fingerboard. The Jumbo frets are in very good condition with very little wear. The vintage style tuners are in perfect condition. The neck is straight and the truss rod works well. Contoured solid alder body with 3-tone sunburst finish. Vintage-style reverse tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles and gold hardware. And of course, the most typical highlights of the SRV, the 3-ply black Pickguard with SRV engraving and the 3 single coil Texas Special pickups. All electronics are in perfect working order.

The original case is included with the original tremolo rod.
