Aaaaah, here is THE reference in terms of Dreadnought. This marvel played, of course, and belonged to John Woolloff, and it has so much allure!!! The D-45 brings you back to the best Dreadnoughts, built with superb woods, including Indian rosewood, with beautiful, straight and regular cuts and veins. the top is also superb, in Sitka spruce, and all the instrument has Style 45 bindings and elegant inlays on the top and back. The D-45 is a dreadnought designed to grab your attention as much as it will grab your ears, it’s no wonder players like Gene Autry and Stephen Stills make the D-45 their instrument of choice.
This instrument is a gem and delivers incredible playing comfort. The frets show minimal fretwear here and there, but almost imperceptible in the end. The neck is a highway and the ease of play will not make you forget the crazy sound that emerges from the beauty. Volume, of course, but not only. It’s balanced, and the balance between the big, powerful and defined bass and the treble is perfect. This guitar was played, of course, but in the end it does not show any major damage and it is hard to guess that this Martin D-45 will celebrate its 21th anniversary.
This guitar is used in good condition, with many small dents and light surface scratches, but no major dings or visible damage, and especially without any crack. Comes with its original hardcase and original documents.
