Here’s an amazing instrument, number 44 in the series of 50 Custom guitars presented at Taylor’s Catch during NAMM 2025, the C24e 8 Strings Baritone Custom #44, of which only a few dozen pieces were manufactured and available only during the Taylor event at NAMM 2025 for dealers present on site.
This superb Grand Auditorium crafted purely from Tasmanian blackwood, a tonewood that merges the warmth of timbers like koa and mahogany with the shimmering top-end of rosewood, offers an ideal sonic backdrop for this guitar’s booming 27-inch scale length, cavernous B to B tuning, and chiming octave pairs on the A and D strings. What’s more, you’ll enjoy a speedy feel across this C24ce’s Crelicam ebony fingerboard courtesy of the neotropical mahogany neck’s slim Standard Carve. Meanwhile, Taylor’s beloved ES2 electronics make achieving acoustic-authentic tones onstage as easy as plugging in. A captivating collection of Custom Catch appointments seal the deal, comprising Hawaiian koa body binding, smoke nickel Taylor tuners, a stained sycamore pickguard, a green abalone rosette, and green abalone inlays across the fingerboard and peghead.
Outfitted with Taylor smoked nickel tuning machines offer lock-tight stability and ES2 electronics, this inspiring custom build ships in a brown deluxe hardshell case.
