We’ve had several Masterbuilts in our hands of course, but this is really something else entirely. This 2016 Mastebuilt was built by Yuriy Shishkov himself, and after the limited edition pieces from the various NAMMs that we received, here is a new bomb with a superbly figured one-piece maple neck, but second hand this time. This is the very top of the range from the Fender Custom Shop, the choice of woods and the manufacturing quality of this superb guitar actually pay homage to one of the best luthiers in the Custom Shop workshops and above all pay homage to these instruments from the mid-50s.

This Stratocaster 56 repro is a unique instrument from the Fender workshops. This superb guitar has a selected and very light ash body. The figured maple neck is in one piece with a super comfortable Large V 56 profile and a radius of 9.5”. The frets are Dunlop 6105, and both the neck and frets are in like new condition. This instrument has hardly been played… The pickups are Hand-wound 56 Josefina pickups. The single ply pickguard is beautiful and gives a unique look to this guitar. It’s perfect. The Dirty White Blonde finish in Journeyman Relic is extremely credible, among the most impressive repros we have had to date.
