Here’s a rare Les Paul Signature Jimmy Page from 1996… It is only the sixth one Leadmusic offers for sale since the opening of the store in 2002, and I love these guitars and look for them… These instruments were offered by Gibson between 1995 and 1999, and these guitars become more and more sought after, particularly with maple top as flamed as this one. Also, because the more recent VOS Jimmy Page versions of the Custom Shop are offered at prices close to 18000$, and Aged or other signed ones cost them stratospheric amounts, these mid 90’s guitars have seen their prices go up. But the former Led Zeppelin guitar player definitely deserves this.
This Les Paul is in a very good condition, a few light surface scratches and very light dents on the back of the body, playwears and surface scratches on the top, but in the end nothing serious, it looks so good !!!! The flamed maple used for this guitar is stunning and is set off by an absolutely stunning Page Burst Custom Authentic finish. The original Jimmy Page pickguard hardly features any flaw and the gold color on the Signature is perfect.
The neck is in perfect condition and has its original frets, super nice and fast. The playing comfort is one of the most incredible and magical ever seen on one of our Les Pauls, and we had loads of them! The neck profile is fairly modern, typical 60’s, and the speed of play is absolute. This instrument is also very light for an non chambered Les Paul from the 90s …
Comes with its original Gibson Jimmy Page hardcase.
