Darkglass propose avec la Alpha-Omega Ultra un préampli pédale hyper polyvalent grâce à d’une part ses deux timbres complètement différents mais surtout grâce à son EQ graphique 6 bandes. Comme sur la Alpha Omega, la Ultra possède la partie Alpha percussive et définie et le mode Omega ample et gras. Les 2 modes distincts d’overdrive (voire de grosse disto !!!) gérés par le potare Mod, le Blend pour le signal pur, et désormais dotés de 6 bandes EQ avec 2 mini switch de boost Growl et Bite, offrent une polyvalence extrême.
De plus, la Alpha Omega Ultra est dotée d’une sortie DI avec lift-ground, d’une sortie casque stéréo, les deux avec simulation de HP contrôlable grâce au port mini USB. Le tout en True Bypass et manufacturé en Finlande.

- Blend : Mixes the clean and processed signals. The clean signal remains at unity gain while the volume of the overdriven signal is set by the Level knob.
- Level : Sets the volume of the overdriven signal.
- Drive: Sets the amount of preamp gain
- Growl : Shelving Bass Boost for a fatter tone and increased low end saturation.
- Bite : Boosts High Mids (2.8kHz) for additional presence and definition.
- Mod : Selects or mixes between the two distinct distortion circuits: Alpha is punchy, tight with a lot of definition, whereas Omega is simply brutal and raw.
- Bass +-12dB @ 80Hz / Mid +-10dB @ 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1.5 kHz, 3 kHz / Treble High shelf +-12dB @ 5 kHz
- Direct Output XLR with Cab Sim. Toggle the cabinet simulation on/off on the Direct Output.
- Headphones. Alpha·Omega Ultra has an internal stereo headphone amplifier capable of driving a minimum load of 16 ohms from the 3.5mm stereo jack.
- Micro USB. A Micro USB B connector allows you to connect the pedal to PC/Mac to load cabinet simulation impulse responses to the pedal and control various other settings.
