Here’s an amazing Brazilian Limited we had new in 2015 from Taylor. We waited for such thing since the Presentation Serie from the mid 90’s, these were sold for 14’000.-chf back then. Here’s an amazing Brazilian Rosewood LTD 814ce we sold new in 2015 and that just came back in. This unique instrument is part of a very limited run of CITES compliant and declared Brazilian Rosewood back & sides built in april 2015. Only one, for what we’ve been told, actually came to Switzerland, this one.

This used instrument is in excellent condition, almost without play mark, trace or other mark, because we had this guitar renovated and restored by Taylor Europe services in October 2020. All electronics have been replaced and refurbished, and the finish of the table has been redone, the bridge has been glued again, the frets have been profiled and polished by Taylor, in short, this instrument, with the exception of one or two marks which are still slightly visible, looks like new. Also, that guita rhas now upgraded chrome Gotoh 510 tuners

This CITES-compliant Brazilian Rosewood back and sides is fully documented and declared here for the customs. This rosewood back and sides are perfectly cut and looks amazing, with no sapwood at all. It’s so perfectly cut that all the veins are parallel and looks gorgeous. Also, the Brazilian Rosewood provides the most sought after sound in music history.  It has the richest and fullest tone with amazing overtones.  Brazilian Rosewood is not only the holy grail of guitar tone but is the most collectible tonewood on the planet. We actually have both 814ce Standard and this unique 814ce Brazilian Rosewood LTD, and there’s huge difference in tone between these 2. The Brazilian LTD offers more definition in the lower frequencies range, more articulate treble and has a very distinct attack and singing tone. It’s more woody in a way, but still has the definition you look from any rosewood back & sides guitar. We had the same verdict with both 816ce and 810e Brazilian LTD we received together with this 814ce. The tonal difference is big and the improvments are evident.

Taylor clearly offers an amazing value with this very collectable Brazilian Rosewood LTD 814ce, as many small companies offers Brazilian Rosewood models, prices ranges from 12900$ for a Boswell to 15’000$ for a Collings. And we don’t even mention an actual Martin, as it starts at almost 60’000$… What a chance to get one of these 814ce Brazilian Rosewood LTD….
