A new and superb limited edition, initially exclusively reserved for Japan, but of which only 30 copies were offered to Europe. Michiya Haruhata is a Japanese guitarist who has been raging since the mid-1980s. This signature model is more complex than it might suggest at first glance.

The body of this model is in ash with a top in quilted maple. Its translucent Trans Pink finish is magnificent. The bolt-on neck is made of maple and has a Round C type profile and is mounted with 22 Medium Jumbo type frets (6105). The head is of the CBS type also called “style 70” although it was introduced in the middle of the 60s before the return of the original profile – thinner – in 1980. This head is reverse, ie inverted. with the mcaniques in low position, which gives it a little singular side. The radius is 9.5 “and unsurprisingly the scale is at the brand’s standard: 25.5”.

From an electronic point of view, this model has an HSH configuration that is unusual on a Strato. The two humbucker pickups in zebra finish (the two coils are different colors) are Di Marzio with a Fred in the bridge position and an Air Norton in the neck position. The center pickup is a Fender Texas Special single coil. They are controlled by a general volume, a specific tone for the center and neck pickups, a micro bridge tone that incorporates a push / push to activate the neck pickup and a five-position switch.

The vibrato is of the Floyd Rose type with a locking nut (42.5 mm). The tuners are of the F Style type, with a 70s connotation. This model replaced the old Kluson models from the end of the 60s. The three traditional synthetic buttons are replaced by metal models of the Telecaster flat top type from the years 70. All the hardware is chrome, including the 5 position switch button.
