Information:

Here we have a super clean (well, mint, really as new…) period-correct Gibson Custom 1959 ES-175 Historic hollowbody electric guitar built and sold new in 2016 to an excellent musician and very carefull gentleman. The ES-175 was introduced in 1949 as an innovative solution to amplifying archtop guitars. In 1959, with the addition of an updated rounded neck profile and PAF humbucking pickups, the ES-175 earned its place as a first choice for jazz guitar. This 1959 ES-175 Historic is a Vintage Original Spec (VOS) instrument built to be as true to the original as possible serves up the rich, sultry tones you can only get from a ’50s Gibson “jazzbox. With a 3-ply maple body (and AAA plain maple top), mahogany neck, and a bound rosewood fretboard, the 1959 ES-175 Historic sports the same tonewoods that made the ES-175 perfect for smoky jazz tones. And with accurate details such as the florentine cutaway, the replica cotton rim stays, and vintage-style hardware, the Gibson Custom 1959 ES-175 Historic hollowbody electric guitar embodies the soul of jazz guitar.

That guitar is in mint condition, no other flaws than the ones intended by the VOS finish from the Gibson factory. No playwear, on the frets or on the body. It was kept in as new condition. Comes with its original case, COA and bill of purchase (with a discounted price of 5990.-swiss francs in 2016…)
