Originally introduced alongside the release of Lynch Mob’s debut album in 1990, the Skulls and Snakes became one of ESP’s very first Signature models. The longevity of George Lynch’s relationship with ESP is remarkable, especially in the world of metal guitars, and this model was produced only in small, sporadic batches throughout the years. In short, here’s a wonderfully clean, original example in outstanding condition.

By 1995, the grunge wave was in full swing, and the market for high-performance “shred” guitars had reached its lowest point. ESP’s Custom Shop built these Signature models only in very limited numbers, almost exclusively as special orders. Back then, there was no digital printing. The iconic “Skulls & Snakes” graphic was entirely hand airbrushed by the master painters at the ESP Custom Shop in Japan. As a result, every guitar from this period features subtle differences, making each one unique.

The official ESP catalog listed the Skulls and Snakes as an LTD Edition, and the catalog instrument shares the same rare specifications as this guitar: the pointed reverse headstock and the exclusive fingerboard inlays unique to this limited run, featuring crossed swords beginning at the 12th fret. The GL Original U neck profile is simply outstanding. This hand-shaped bolt-on maple neck features a unique asymmetrical profile that is slightly fuller than a typical Super Strat neck, delivering exceptional comfort for fluid legato playing and aggressive, expressive vibrato.

This 1995 instrument is in excellent condition. It’s clearly a guitar that spent most of its life in a collection, while still being enjoyed as it was meant to be. It shows only a few light surface marks and fine scratches consistent with careful use. There are no dents, no exposed wood, and no finish cracks. The frets are virtually like new.

Overall, this is a superb example. Equipped with an ESP-licensed Floyd Rose tremolo and Seymour Duncan pickups, this guitar not only has incredible stage presence but also offers an absolutely phenomenal playing experience.

This guitar is impressively lightweight and offers exactly the kind of neck feel you’d expect from the vintage Gibsons of the era. The finish, the body contours, the fretwork, the neck profile—honestly, Tokai absolutely nailed it with this one. And the sound? It’s right there too. The guitar retains its original pickups. There is a small solder touch-up on the volume potentiometer, indicating that another pickup was installed at some point in its life, but it has since been returned to its original configuration.

The hardware, plastic parts, and all the remaining components are original. The frets show virtually no playing wear, and the guitar itself has remarkably few dings, scratches, or signs of use. It’s obvious that this instrument has been carefully looked after throughout its life.

On top of that, this particular guitar features a beautifully flamed maple neck, something not mentioned in the official specs, and quite unlike the rather plain-looking necks you’ll find on most comparable examples online. Add its exceptionally light weight, and you’ve got yourself a truly outstanding guitar. Its Blue Ice Metallic finish has been tastefully relic’d to recreate the look and feel of a well-loved vintage instrument. The neck has also received the full Relic treatment, featuring a comfortable mid-’60s Oval “C” profile paired with a modern 9.5″ radius rosewood fingerboard.

The neck itself is a gorgeous quartersawn maple piece with 21 narrow vintage frets and stunning, evenly figured grain running throughout the maple. It’s genuinely a remarkable neck. The fairies must have blessed this one at birth! The entire guitar is finished in nitrocellulose lacquer, complete with tasteful relic work and beautiful lacquer checking that faithfully reproduces the natural aging seen on vintage Fender instruments.

This guitar is simply exceptional. It plays effortlessly, sounds absolutely fantastic, and oozes character and personality. Naturally, it delivers the full range of classic Telecaster tones thanks to its pair of Fender Custom Wound ’64 Gray Bottom single-coil pickups, wired to the traditional three-way selector switch. This pre-owned instrument comes from an impressive private collection and has clearly been cherished by its previous owner, a true enthusiast with impeccable taste. The frets are virtually as new, and apart from the original Custom Shop Relic finish, there are no dings, damage, or unwanted marks.

The B-Bender system was invented in 1967 by drummer and machinist Gene Parsons together with guitarist Clarence White, who wanted to equip his Fender Telecaster with a mechanism capable of bending the B string mechanically. Unlike the other strings, the B string doesn’t terminate at the bridge. Instead, it passes through a dedicated anchor connected to the upper strap button via a spring-loaded lever hidden beneath a large plate on the back of the guitar. Pulling the neck downward raises the pitch of the B string by a whole tone (two frets), from B to C#, allowing players to recreate the unmistakable sound of a pedal steel guitar and perform those legendary country bends, although that’s far from all it’s capable of.

The original Parsons/White StringBender was licensed to Leo Fender in 1968 but never entered production. Gene Parsons continued building and installing the mechanism himself, eventually supplying several hundred units to the Japanese manufacturer Tokai Gakki for installation in some of their guitars.

In the late 1980s, Parsons and his business partner Meridian Green approached Fender once again and met master builder Fred Stuart at the newly established Fender Custom Shop in California. Together they built around 200 Clarence White Telecasters fitted with the Parsons/White StringBender. Following the success of those guitars, Fender decided to put a production model into the catalog. Parsons and Green redesigned the mechanism to simplify installation, licensing it to Fender as the Parsons/Green B-Bender. The first Fender Nashville B-Bender Telecaster rolled off the production line in 1996.

This American Standard Fender B-Bender Telecaster comes factory-equipped with the Parsons/Green B-Bender system, widely regarded as one of the finest B-Bender designs ever made. The model was introduced in 1996 and discontinued in 1998. It features a solid alder body with classic 1952-style Telecaster contours, a one-piece maple neck with maple fingerboard and rolled edges, a 25.5″ (648 mm) scale length, and 22 medium-jumbo frets. The hardware is all original, but the pickups have been upgraded to active EMGs. The result is an absolute monster, tons of punch, endless tonal possibilities, and incredible versatility.

This guitar has clearly been well played, exactly as it should be. The Vintage White finish has naturally worn through in places, giving it plenty of character, and the pickups show honest string-contact wear. The frets have been professionally dressed and are in excellent condition. It plays beautifully, feels incredibly comfortable, and is simply a fantastic instrument.

The Gletty Columbia models are based on the Travis Bean concept with a unique and very cool design along with an improved aluminum neck. The bolt on Columbia neck weighs less than 650 grams straight out of the CNC machine. Gletty uses a very specific aluminum alloy that is free of internal stress and offers far greater stability against temperature changes. Every neck is fitted with a truss rod allowing for any type of adjustment. Their construction provides outstanding strength while two very distinctive internal cavities give them a unique voice. This Columbia MKV Tenth Anniversary features an absolutely stunning Gabon Royal Ebony fingerboard with spectacular figuring. The one piece mahogany body is equally impressive and the Relic finish reveals beautiful grain and natural patterns. The electronics are simple effective and sound incredible. The HBG pickups deliver a punchy warm voice rich in midrange with excellent clarity. These pickups pair perfectly with the sharp attack of the aluminum neck and the broad upper mids of the mahogany body giving this guitar remarkable definition and articulation.

This 2003 Historic Reissue Les Paul R9 features the celebrated Authentic ’59 Rounded “C” neck profile. If you’ve never played one of these necks, you’ve never truly experienced what a great Les Paul neck feels like. It’s substantial without being oversized, rounded without feeling bulky, filling the hand perfectly while remaining incredibly comfortable and effortless to play. The neck also benefits from a long neck tenon for enhanced resonance and sustain, along with rolled fingerboard binding for exceptional playing comfort. The 2003 Historic Reissues truly stand in a class of their own.

To top it all off, this Gibson Les Paul Historic Reissue ’59 is both stunning and remarkably lightweight. Its maple top displays the characteristic late-’50s style figuring, with beautifully defined and consistent flame. Simply breathtaking. You might expect a non-weight-relieved Les Paul to tip the scales at an intimidating weight, but not this one. It weighs just 3.78 kg (8.33 lbs), making it exceptionally light for a solid, non-weight-relieved Les Paul. This is thanks to the outstanding quality of the tonewoods, particularly the lightweight, low-density mahogany used for both the body and neck, which also features an exceptionally beautiful grain.

As a pre-owned instrument, it has been very well cared for. There are a few small dings and light marks on the back, while the top remains virtually unmarked. The neck and frets are in excellent condition, showing no noticeable wear or signs of heavy playing.

Its original owner had a large rehearsal space and, before living life to the fullest, decided, like a true patron of the arts, to build a recording studio and generously support countless musician friends with his financial resources. Gear flowed freely, and among those purchases was this magnificent Joe Perry Signature Les Paul.

This 1996 Gibson Custom Shop Limited Edition Joe Perry Signature Les Paul, finished in the gorgeous Trans Black Burst, is an incredibly comfortable guitar that was extensively played for several years before eventually spending the rest of its life safely stored in its case. It shows plenty of honest playwear: numerous scratches, small dings, and various cosmetic marks throughout the body. However, there are no cracks, breaks, or repairs. The frets have been professionally dressed and polished, all hardware has been removed, cleaned, and restored, and the electronics are now in perfect working order. Aside from its cosmetic wear, this guitar is an absolute joy to play.

Only 200 examples of this Custom Shop model were produced in 1996, making it an extremely rare instrument. This was the very first Joe Perry Signature model, released one year after the Jimmy Page Signature. Needless to say, it has nothing in common with the more affordable production version built between 1997 and 1999 in Gibson’s regular factory. This Custom Shop edition features several specifications exclusive to this model.

Its figured maple neck provides outstanding playing comfort and exceptional speed, while the ebony fingerboard offers an incredibly smooth and luxurious feel. The chambered body produces a rich, open resonance with excellent attack while keeping the weight perfectly balanced. Grover sealed tuners, black hardware, and the elegant Trans Black Burst finish complete the package, but special mention must be made of the spectacular maple top. Its wide, deep flame figuring is beautifully enhanced by the finish, making this one of the guitar’s most striking visual features.

The Joe Perry Les Paul comes fitted with a pair of ’57 Classic humbuckers, delivering the legendary vintage PAF character with a subtle touch of modern refinement. The result is a clear, powerful, articulate tone capable of cutting through any mix. The black nickel hardware not only gives the guitar a sleek and understated appearance but also contributes to excellent durability and tuning stability, making this a dependable instrument for both studio work and live performance.

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Gibson revived this elegant and uniquely designed guitar at the end of 2024, this time in a version inspired by its transitional year. Originally designed in 1963 by renowned automotive designer Ray Dietrich, the first Firebird was a masterpiece of flowing lines and chrome accents, featuring a unique construction that set it apart from every other Gibson of its era. Built from a walnut and mahogany laminate with a neck-through-body construction, banjo-style tuners, a fixed bridge, and distinctive Firebird mini humbucking pickups, the guitar made a strong impression upon its release. However, only a few years later, it underwent several significant design changes.

Starting in 1965, Gibson introduced the new Non-Reverse model, featuring an inverted body shape with the longer horn positioned on the upper side. The neck-through construction was replaced by a set neck, and, most notably, the headstock adopted a much simpler design. Before this transition was fully completed, a handful of exceptionally rare guitars left the factory combining features from both generations. These hybrid instruments became known as the “Platypus” models because of their distinctive reversed headstock. Today, they are among the most sought-after vintage Firebirds by collectors. In 2025, Gibson introduced the new Firebird Platypus, a faithful tribute to these rare transitional models. This version features a mahogany body with the characteristic raised center ridge reminiscent of the original neck-through construction, while incorporating a glued-in SlimTaper set neck with 22 medium jumbo frets. Its iconic Platypus-style headstock has also been redesigned to improve tuning stability through a straighter string pull.

Tonally, the Platypus remains true to the spirit of the original Firebird. It is equipped with a pair of historically accurate Firebird pickups featuring Alnico 5 magnets, delivering the bright, focused, and articulate high-end response that has made this iconic model so highly regarded.

This pre-owned guitar is in like-new condition. It has seen very little playing time and has been meticulously cared for as part of a fine guitar collection. It comes complete with its original hardshell case and all original documentation.

Equipped with a mahogany neck in the classic ’50s profile, Burstbucker 1 and 2 pickups, hand-wired electronics with the renowned Orange Drop capacitors, and all the details that made Gibson famous, this guitar has very little to envy from the brand’s more expensive models.
